But Ashfaque refused to be defined by one role. From 2016 to 2018, he stepped into the classroom as a Drawing Teacher at Excellence School, Sukkur, proving his ability to nurture young creativity with patience and encouragement.Then came journalism. Between 2018 and 2024, Ashfaque worked as a Reporter at ARY News, covering real ground stories with courage, accuracy, and a journalist’s instinct. Even while reporting hard news, he never left education behind – in 2021, he also served as Head Teacher at SEF School Ubri Darsgah School, balancing school leadership with the demands of a newsroom.
